The Karhia Pro Trimmer works like a groomer’s fingers—but much faster and without fatigue. The device mimics the finger movement used in hand-stripping, removing old hair from among the new coat. If a hair isn’t ready to come out, it slips safely between two soft surfaces—a rubber stripping pad and a rotating mat—without breaking.
Hand-stripping a wire-haired dog is time-consuming and physically demanding—especially on the fingers. Because of the effort involved, wire-haired dogs are often stripped too infrequently.
